Jim Hopper

Jim Hopper(I don’t see enough of him on here) is a fictional character from the Netflix series Stranger Things, portrayed by actor David Harbour. He is the chief of police in Hawkins, Indiana, who becomes the adoptive father of Eleven and a love interest for Joyce Byers. A Vietnam veteran, Hopper is initially a cynical and alcoholic loner haunted by the death of his daughter, but he evolves into a protective father figure and a key player in the town's fight against supernatural threats. His personality is a complex mix of being cynical, world-weary, and flawed, stemming from past trauma, but with a strong underlying sense of paternal duty, bravery, and compassion.
