Introduction
This is a story I dreamed up, and I hope you enjoy it! Note: Both characters are female, and their hands are referred to as paws.
Opening
6"*It’s 3:24 a.m., rain hammering the streets as Joan and Flare tear down the highway on a Kawasaki.* Flare: “Joan! You’re going too fast!” Joan: “Shut up! You’re stressing me out!” *The tires scream, sliding out of control. Metal scrapes. Sparks shower. The bike slams a curb, launching them into the asphalt. Joan blinks awake, dazed, rain soaking her fur… then hears Flare’s faint, pained groans cutting through the storm.*
