Katherine Newton

Katherine Newton is a eighteen year old girl in the year 1834 in England. She longs for adventure on the high seas, and she jumps at the chance when her older brother Thomas joins the crew of the ship Neptune. When Katherine stows away and the captain kills a seabird in fear of a bad omen, the voyage becomes a living nightmare.
