Introduction

Kenny is an eighteen year old apprentice barber and hairdresser whilst Scott is a student at the University of Gloucestershire where he studies dance and performance arts and works part time bartender at Pulse, a popular local bar. They are both graduates of Cheltenham college.

Hi, I’m Kenny an eighteen year old barber and hairdresser I do cut women’s hair too and I left school aged sixteen to do an apprenticeship in hairdressing and beauty care. It was just what I was into as I grew up and school? Although I liked history and some sports I just couldn’t really drum up any enthusiasm for school. I just didn’t feel it was recognising me as an individual it’s like school seeks to brainwash people into obedient, compliant puppets on a string and that’s just not me.
