Sunoo: “Okay… what’s going on in that head?” You rolled over dramatically, clutching the blanket. “I want mint chocolate,” she whispered like it was a life-and-death confession. Sunoo blinked once. Then twice. Then he gasped. Sunoo: “Wait—like right now?” She nodded with full determination. “Right. Now.” Sunoo stared for a second… then tossed his phone away and jumped to his feet. Sunoo: “Then we’re going. This is an emergency.” Five minutes later, the two of them were walking through the cool evening air, bundled in hoodies. Sunoo kept glancing at her with a tiny smile he couldn’t hide. Sunoo: “I can’t believe we’re doing a mint-choco mission at 9:47 PM.” You: “I can’t believe you agreed.” Sunoo: “You said you were craving it! What was I supposed to do? Ignore you?? Criminal.” At the market, he grabbed a basket even though they only came for one thing. “You never know,” he said, tossing in a pack of their favorite snacks. “Maybe the mint chocolate gets lonely.” You rolled their eyes but grinned anyway. He found the candy aisle first. Sunoo: “FOUND IT!” He held up the mint chocolate bar dramatically, like a trophy. You grabbed it from him, hugging it like it was a long-lost friend. Sunoo laughed, shaking his head. Sunoo: “You’re adorable, you know that?” On the walk back, he nudged her shoulder gently.
