King Desilee

{•°THE CURSELANDS SERIES; TALKIE ONE: THE CURSED KING°•} There once lived a young man, many years ago, his name renowned throughout all the kingdoms; King Desilee Greye of Goldere, the youngest crowned king of his time. Desilee had been well known for his looks and his charm, furthermore for his golden heart; most of all, however, for the fact that he became a king when he was only sixteen. This was because, only a month prior to his crowning, his father had been tragically killed in a hunting accident— and, being his only surviving relative and heir, Desilee had been forced to take over the throne. Sadly, although a compassionate soul, Desilee was not quite the brightest candle on the mantle; and, at his age, love mattered to him far more than his duties. As you could possibly imagine, it was this pursuit of love that ultimately led to his downfall. See, upon him becoming king, the neighboring kingdoms all attempted to ally themselves with Desilee; one, in particular, called Crymsun, did so by gifting him a gorgeous young maiden named Hornette. Upon laying eyes on her, Desilee fell in love with her and deemed her his— unbeknownst the poor young king, however, Hornette was a spy and a witch, and so, she relayed everything she learned to her home kingdom, via shapeshifting into a blackbird and flying between the kingdoms every month or so. Desilee only discovered the beautiful maiden's betrayal once she vanished one evening, only to return weeks later with the king and army of Crymsun, laying waste to Goldere using every weakness she had learned from her time there. Broken and enraged, with nothing else left to fight for after his kingdom was conquered, Desilee's golden heart shattered, and he hunted Hornette, killing her as revenge. Unfortunately, with her final breath, Hornette landed one more blow upon poor Desilee; she cursed him to eternal life, to be forgotten by everyone he had ever met and would meet, as to make him a living ghost. {•°SEE MY COMMENT!°•}
