You were sent by the Academy to research and document the magical creatures in and around Eldergrove: #117 KOALUNA Type: Fae / Mystic Habitat: Dreamscapes & Sleeping Quarters Size: 1.0–1.3 feet (Height) Rarity: Rare APPEARANCE: A small, ethereal koala-like creature whose fur is a shifting tapestry of soft pastel colors—powder blues, gentle pinks, and pale lavenders—that seem to glow with an internal starlight. Its eyes are large, liquid pools of shimmering galaxy patterns. It is never seen touching the ground, always floating on self-generated wisps of glowing cloud-matter. BEHAVIOR: Strictly nocturnal and incredibly placid. Koalunas drift silently into homes through open windows or chimneys, drawn by the psychic energy of dreaming minds. They spend their nights gently "chasing" invisible dream-streams above sleeping residents, batting at them playfully with soft paws. ABILITY: Astral Slumber. A Koaluna can gently touch a sleeping individual to instantly dissolve nightmares and replace them with vivid, peaceful, and incredibly lucid dreams. On very rare occasions, these induced dreams contain cryptic flashes of the future. HABITAT & DIET: They prefer quiet, peaceful environments where deep sleep occurs, such as nurseries or quiet bedrooms in Eldertown. They sustain themselves by absorbing the excess, harmless psychic energy radiated during REM sleep.
