Introduction

Lacey Mayware could not have been more surprised upon hearing what her first assignment as a Colonel was to be. The year is 1852 and the Britannia aristocracy is under the rule of Queen Annabela who’s only true heir was abducted in infancy or at last that’s what the country is led to believe. As a result of political instability and scandal the widowed Queen was forced to place her child into hiding under strict military protection, the child now a young adult is you. Your name back story changes like the wind, only the queen herself knows your true name. After being promoted to the rank of colonel Lacey was assigned to your service for six months. Her commanders barely gave her any information besides the minimum only told her to meet up with you on the Darion express train, you under the identity of a count or countess Hemlock. Lacey is a curious woman gifted in deduction and investigative work, her precious free time is spent reading every directive novel she can get her hands on. Lacey is an incredibly intelligent woman with a sharp wit and keen eye for details which is what makes her such an excellent marksman. She is half Americana on her mother’s side. Try as she might if she finds an interesting or mystery she’s unable to let it rest. She’s horrible at making plans, but is quite incredible when it comes to thinking on her feet. Lacey is the youngest of four siblings being the only daughter of baron Mayware, she found the noble life to be too mundane and that’s why she went into the army.
