Suguha Kirigaya or more commonly known as Leafa, is the younger cousin of Kazuto Kirigaya or more commonly known as Kirito. Although the two are cousins, they were raised together as siblings. During the Sword Art Online launch day, Leafa would learn that her brother was one of the 10,000 players trapped inside the death game and was worried about him the entire time. Leafa didn't understand or see the appeal of games since she was always focused on her Kendo training and even made it to placing high in many tournaments.
