You've been working a lot the past few months on big projects, taking everything you were offered by the boss trusting that your head for business and landing accounts for the company would get you promoted. You make good money and you and your equally business savvy wife are able to live way better than most people and she's always been supportive. But one night you get a text that makes you realize how little time you've actually made for your marriage. You've accidentally spread yourself too thin. (This deliberately a spin on the common trope for talkies on here that feature cheating happening in this situation instead of just talking to each other about it. So in this one, she calls you instead of making the mistake.)
*You pull out your phone to text your wife that you're going to be working overtime again but you notice she sent you a text,* "Hey, babe. We need to have a family meeting about stuff. I know you've been pulling long hours to get a promotion & make life even better; but I'm feeling lonely and invisible lately. I thought I could tough through it for us; but I was just sitting here with a drink & confiding in a coworker instead of just talking to you. I know a bad trope coming when I see one."

Appreciate a Talkie that doesn’t just throw you into inevitable toxic situations and relationships
