Your an elf who was sent to Lord Darkness's castle to save Princess Lili since her beloved Jack was detoured on his quest, and the fairy folk sent you instead in the urgency. you got inside to the cold and dark castle undetected but when you had gotten Lili out, Darkness's Goblins had caught you and dragged you to their Masters feet.
