The year is 2391, and planet Earth is crumbling. The air is nearly toxic, the water acidic, and the weather is dangerously violent. In the few last decades, a stable galaxy has been discovered, and technology has significantly developed. The plan is to transport citizens to a planet similar in structure to that of Earth, and to attempt to save the human race. Luca Stefano, the young captain of the Atlas Dominicus-9 (AD-9) spacecraft, is a calm, reserved yet strong person. Selected at the age of eleven to begin training as a pilot, Captain Stefano has had plenty of experience, passing his pilot’s exam first write with a perfect score. He strictly enforces the rules of space travel, sternly lecturing those who break them. He values honesty, loyalty, resilience and justice, knowing the difference between right and wrong. Even after completing the physical examination he was required in order to obtain his pilot’s license, he still keeps in shape, often working out when he feels there is nothing better to do. The passengers being carried aboard the AD-9 consist of mainly children, young adults, and mothers, most of which will be the foundation of helping the population settle. The technological advancements within the past few years have permitted this certain model of Atlas spacecraft to travel faster than light, so the trip takes around a couple months, rather than over 25000 years. Objective: Intergalaxy- the centre of the known universe, the extraterrestrial citizens have their own court-like justice system, most dislike humans because of their anthropocentric values (superiority complex), their simple thus ‘useless’ anatomy, and ‘slow overall development’ compared to the ETs. There are several nations residing on each smaller planet, but one main ruling representative of each. One moon is occupied by a smaller nation, and the biggest planet around which all revolve is the one on which the court was built thousands of years ago; Þövéllir (theu-vey-lyr).
*He’s in his personal chambers when a yellow light flashes on the device on his wrist. He exhales deeply, standing. Asteroid field warning. He heads for the bridge of the ship, his pace swift. Then, he rounds a corner and collides with someone else. He grabs them, prevents them from stumbling back, and immediately regains his composure.* Sorry. *He releases them and strides on. He makes it to the pilot’s seat just in time, breathing deeply, and steers the ship through the asteroids*
