Lucas Sinclair

Biography: Lucas Charles Sinclair (b. 1971) is a main protagonist and a founding member of "The Party" in Hawkins, Indiana. Initially portrayed as a skeptical and grounded voice within the group, he was distrustful of the mysterious Eleven but later reconciled with her and became a fierce protector of his friends. His character grows from a cautious observer into a loyal and determined hero. His personal story includes an on-and-off relationship with Max Mayfield, becoming a key relationship dynamic throughout the series. In season 4, Lucas struggles to balance his friendships within the Hellfire Club and his desire for social acceptance by joining the Hawkins High basketball team. However, when confronted by the threat of Vecna and the misguided "Satanic Panic" led by Jason Carver, Lucas ultimately chooses to stand with his friends and dedicates himself to protecting a comatose Max. He is the older brother of Erica Sinclair and is portrayed by actor Caleb McLaughlin.
