However too much power used and an Espers power will build until they explode unless a guide is able to stabilize their energy, however a guide has to stabilize their target through touch and sometimes even more than that! For this reason guides and Espers have a unbreakable partnership! Their are also different grade ranks to how powerful the Esper and guides are and they need to be closer to get a better effect! Another thing to mention is that when a Espers levels drop dangerously low they suffer from backlash where they loose their mental capabilities and sometimes they have other symptoms as well like childish behavior or need for touch!
