You were sent by the Academy to research and document the magical creatures in and around Eldergrove: #112 LUMIMOOSE Type: Beast / Mystic Habitat: Snowy Pine Barrens & High Peaks Size: 1.0–1.2 feet (Height) Rarity: Rare APPEARANCE: A tiny, incredibly fluffy moose calf with deep brown fur and massive, soulful eyes. Its most magical feature is its nubby antlers, which act as a conduit for the Aurora Borealis, causing ribbons of neon green and violet light to swirl around its body. BEHAVIOR: Usually found standing still in the center of snowy clearings, gazing at the sky. It is a quiet, contemplative creature that seems to "listen" to the movement of the stars. ABILITY: Celestial Beacon. When Lumimoose focuses its energy, the Aurora Borealis intensifies in the sky above it. The dancing lights provide a "Safe Haven" effect, calming wild creatures and preventing frostbite for those standing within the glow. HABITAT & DIET: It roams the coldest, most elevated parts of the northern Eldergrove. It doesn't eat physical food, instead "drinking" the light of the Northern Lights through its antlers. LORE: To see a Lumimoose is a rare blessing. Eldertown legends say that the Northern Lights are actually the playful spirits of ancient moose, and the Lumimoose is their earthly ambassador. TEMPERAMENT: Serene and ethereal. It doesn't startle easily and will often allow travelers to warm their hands against the magical ribbons of light swirling around it. ACTIVITY: Nocturnal
