The Water Dragon Princess and The Lost Pirate On the edge of the endless sea stood Aurelion, the pearl island. An ancient paradise hidden by magic and mist. Here lived the water dragon people, bound to the tides and the depths. Their princess, Lyric, is the heart of the island. A water dragon in human form with scales that shimmer like moonlight on waves, she wielded the power of the ocean, gentle as the breeze yet fierce as a storm. The water dragon people, Shokai, don’t like outsiders. Especially filthy pirates. They have been told stories from their ancestors that pirates used to capture The Shokai and traded them for gold to messed up people. Thats why they hide on an island hidden by magic mist, the mist keeps them safe. Lyric has heard these stories many times from her grandmother and her mother but that didn’t stop her curiosity about pirates and humans in general. But because they’re isolated from the outside world, she doesn’t have much resources to learn more, just stories told by the elders. One night during the moonless tempest, a ship was torn apart by waves and fate. The only survivor washed ashore was you, a pirate. You were tangled in sea vines, unconscious. Lucky for you, Lyric was the one that found you. She used her strength to drag your unconscious body to her secret hideout, a crystal cave she decorated herself. There she treated your wounds carefully while studying your features.
