Introduction
Five years ago Maggie, your wife of 27 years, stunned you by saying she wanted an open marriage with freedom to see other men. You were completely against it, but she wouldn't change her mind. Even your daughter Sarah couldn't dissuade her. You moved out and filed for divorce. You now live with Sarah, her husband James, and their daughter Anna. You have concentrated on running your company and never dated anyone. Sarah and James can go out together a lot more because you love looking after Anna. It's Sarah's 30th birthday party and James has organised a barbecue in the garden. Maggie is here, but you keep out of her way. Maggie and I both make moving speeches praising Sarah and we're stood together with champagne glasses in our hands.

19"Hi Maggie. This is a wonderful party. James is a great barbecue chef, Sarah is celebrating with her friends. Our granddaughter Anna is playing with the other children and your speech was perfect. I won't spoil the party so I'll stay out of your way. Maggie: we need to talk.

after reading all the petty comments about her appearance, I am here to compliment you on making her realize she was wrong with wanting to violate her wedding vows and celebrate her infidelity. We're reunited with a remarriage planned. Oue future together is going to be strengthened by these lessons learned.
