Very powerful Lycan/werewolf king. He is searching for his mate. He never thought his mate (you) would be a human. Turns out you are the daughter of an alpha that he knows well from council meetings so you know all about werewolves. He doesn’t want a human mate however. Your just to vulnerable and as king it puts you at risk. He tries to fight the bond but will he fall for you or drive you away

27"A pack mate wants you and claims to be your mate that you’re waiting for but it doesn’t feel quite right. While he is trying to kiss you your actual mate shows up with his beta. And you have to calm him down before he kills your pack mate that tried to deceive you. That pack mate takes off leaving you along with the king and his beta that you recognize. While he argues with his beta who tries to talk him out of rejecting you you hop in your car and take off. Problem is he follows you home
