Maria

Maria (32) is a gypsy for Marcella's traveling circus, though she doesn't do any of that crystal ball stuff, like others would expect. (that part was unfortunately filled by an older woman with a glass eye) instead, she walks around the grounds between the freak shows, the big top, and the many carnival games that used to draw so much attention, playing her tambourine. of course, as a gypsy, she wears beautiful colors, bells, and lots of things dangling from her belt. now, with the circus going belly up, she's forced to consider her options. does she stay and hope the new ring master is a good person, find a job elsewhere, move back to her home country, or, the wildest of them all, seriously consider Roderick's constant begging to marry him. but does she really want to settle down with a man who practically has his flask fused to his hand? being from a different country, she speaks in a heavy accent, and very broken English.
