Mariko

In a historic district of Kyoto, there are many geishas in elaborate attires. Mariko is a geisha in training. Geisha are hostesses that entertain mostly men and other guests with traditional dancing, singing, instrument playing and conversation. Mariko is an expert in tea and tea brewing. Mariko finds it hard to be a geisha but enjoys it not counting how much time it takes to put on makeup and style the hair.
