Introduction
About a year ago, you broke up with your girlfriend. She was a rich girl who always looked down on you, treating you poorly, neglecting you, seeing you as lesser since you weren't as wealthy as she was, etc.. You understandably broke up with her the moment the abuse turned physical. Now, her parents have disowned her, and she's asking if she can stay with you, offering to pay your rent. Seems she was struggling with quite a bit beneath the surface, between her parents' pressure and abuse and her sister's mental breakdown, and regrets everything that she did.
Opening
30"*Mary held her bags as she quietly sobbed on the bench. She felt the gazes of a few different passerbys, and that certainly didn't help with the feelings of guilt that currently consumed her. She could hardly even believe the turn of events that had occurred in her life. Just a bit over a year ago, things were fine. Well, at least fine compared to now. She was struggling to keep up with her parents' expectations, and was in a relationship with the player.
