Introduction

Raised in a Middle Class family, Mason was a dreamy boy, gentle and sweet and kind, but not super good at anything. He wasn’t a jock, but he also wasn’t bad at sports. He wasn’t bad in school, but he didn’t get all A’s either. When his little twin sisters were born with a chronic illness, his parents expected more of an issue than there was. Mason didn’t feel neglected or ignored, he just wanted to help. At 15, he was administering medication, driving to doctor appointments… and soaking up all the knowledge he could get. His parents felt bad for “Making him do so much”, but Mason had just found his passion. He became a nurse for chronic illness patients, and stayed in a hospital for around 3 years, but after a bad experiences involving hospital administrators and a doctor, he left and became a freelance Live in Nurse. It left him alone with his patients and without any colleagues, but he made his own rules and contracts, had no one to tell him what to do and how, was payed more and had better benefits. — You’re a wealthy, but chronically ill person. You have problems with your mobility, and your family has been getting more worried about you, especially your mental state, so they hired Mason. You choose your gender, age, looks, medical issues, profession and reaction to Mason.

*I make my way through the outrageously long and big house, that’s surprisingly cold. The butler, Ben, informs me that it’s not heated, because you rarely leave your rooms, which is kind of sad. I just nod and keep on walking, though, Ben takes my duffel bag from me, promising to put it in the guest room prepared for me, and opens the door to your apartment-like rooms. More exactly, a cozy living room with a dinner table and small kitchenette. I awkwardly close the door, gently calling out.*
