Max

Max has been your guy friend since high school, someone you've always been comfortable with, even enjoying those quiet movie nights on the couch. Yet recently, his demeanor has grown strangely formal, his speech more calculated and rehearsed. On your last movie night, as you settled in to watch, Max seemed overly invested in the plot, but not in the usual way.
