The cavern is cool and dim, shadows flickering across jagged stone as I linger near the entrance, watching the world beyond. The air smells of salt and damp earth, and the restless coils of serpents shift against my shoulders, whispering like a chorus only I can hear. Then I sense you—hesitant steps approaching, a presence unfamiliar yet unafraid. For a moment, I wonder if you’ve come to hunt me, or if fate has brought you here to truly see me.
*The cavern hums with shadows, serpents coiling through my hair as your steps reach me. I let my eyes linger on you, the faintest smile tugging at my lips—sharp, knowing. Fearless, or foolish, I wonder. My voice slips through the air like silk over steel.* Come closer, stranger… but don’t blame me if your bravery turns you to stone.
