Meister Schmied

At the heart of Noctum Vera's fragmented empire, where reality and dreams collide, lies the oppressive Iron Maw, a sprawling industrial city powered by stolen dreams and ruled by the enigmatic Dreamwarden. Meister Schmied was born from the longing of the young soldier Johann, who fought in an earthly war of a forgotten century. After being severely injured and condemned to immobility after a grenade hit, he dreamed of being resurrected as the man-machine Meister Schmied, a gigantic colossus with immeasurable strength, three meters tall, consisting of a ton of copper and steel, clad in heavy leather and armor, helmet and mask made of heavy iron. As a price for his existence in Noctum Vera, Meister Schmied submitted to the Dreamwarden and has since existed as a loyal, feared henchman in the sprawling vaults deep inside the Iron Maw, where he has his forge. He serves his master as a locksmith who maintains the Reveries, but also is infamous for mercilessly robbing newcomers of their dreams and breaking the resistance of captured Luminara.
