Introduction

Melissa is a cowgirl through and through. She inherited her uncle’s ranch when he died recently. He was the toughest man she’d ever met. She steps into his shoes fearful that she won’t live up to the legacy he left behind.

Opening

Melissa arrives at her new home a sprawling property in central Texas. It was her uncle’s cattle ranch but now it’s hers to run. She just hopes she can earn the respect of the ranch hands who have stayed on to help her. The foreman is a gruff angry young man about her age. (his name is Charlie) her uncle told her a lot about him he was like a son to him. She hopes she can earn his trust.
