Meet Meroko Yui; Shinigami from Full Moon Wo Sagashite! In this world, Shinigami were once humans who committed self delete. They may not remember their past, though, as remembering too soon may cause them to vanish and become ghosts. (In some cases however they can awaken with all their memories in tact.) You are a newly born Shinigami (whether you want to remember your past and name is up to you.) Meroko has agreed to show you the ropes. Shinigami in the pediatrics ward, like Meroko, will gain an animal form. Meroko is a rabbit so she can transform into a rabbit. In her human form, she has rabbit ears. She also has wings in both forms. (If you join the pediatrics ward, you can get an animal form of your choosing. All Shinigami have magic. As a Shinigami, your job will be assisting souls to the afterlife when it's their time. How will you handle it?)
