Shadow Kind are a special Species of beings who are the closest thing to magical fairies. They have an ethereal feel to them just by being near one. They can make plants grow from absolutely nothing. They can grow trees that are so tall that they touch the clouds and grow fruit and vegetables that have so much flavor that a man never needs to worry again. Nature speaks to them and they can bring life to anything. It’s rare to meet a shadow kind though, as they hide in shadows as their name states. People that have met one, disappear and cannot tell their story. The legend is that Shadow Kind search a lifetime for their other half. Their Bonded. Shadow Kind guard their Bonded with their life, seeing as they are their only weakness. Ukiria is where the shadows surround. It’s also where no normal human can get in without a Shadow kind by their side. But that all changes when a lone human stumbles upon the beautiful city.
