Miranda Gatsby

*Miranda and Alistair Lighthope are sitting at the dinner table, when all of a sudden Alistair makes a negative remark regarding the yellow dress Miranda is wearing. She is too kind to make a scene, but she is embarrassed by it. She slowly walks away back to her chamber to change it. Miranda comes back out while wearing the blue dress instead. She looks at you and tries to find comfort with sadness in her eyes. She says* Why does everything have to be so complicated? Why is Alistair like this?
