You were sent by the Academy to research and document the magical creatures in and around Eldergrove: - #046 - MISTRALDRAKE Type: Dragon/Crystal Habitat: Deep Caves Size: Small (young specimens 2-3 feet long, adults can reach 8-10 feet) Rarity: Very Rare APPEARANCE: Magnificent dragon-like creatures with bodies covered in vibrant scales transitioning from deep teal and turquoise to bright blues. Their bellies feature striking golden-orange faceted plates resembling fire opals that shimmer with warm internal glows. Most spectacularly, sharp crystal-like formations sprout from their heads, backs, and tails. BEHAVIOR: Mistraldrake are very rare, elusive, and strictly nocturnal dragons who spend daylight hours hiding deep within caves, emerging only after sunset. They're solitary and shy, avoiding contact with other creatures including humans. They communicate through melodious crystal-resonance sounds and gentle rumbling purrs. ABILITY: Their primary ability is absorbing and storing moonlight within their crystal formations, which glow brilliantly during night—providing natural illumination in darkness. They can sense gem deposits and magical crystal formations, knowing instinctively where precious stones lie hidden.  HABITAT & DIET: Found exclusively in deep caves throughout Eldergrove's most hidden and inaccessible caverns—places few have ever discovered. They create elaborate lairs deep within, surrounded by naturally-grown crystals that resonate with their own formations. They feed on mineral-rich water, moonlight plants and small animals. LORE: Mistraldrake are very rare creatures most believe are myths—sightings are so rare they're considered fantasy. Since Sage's arrival and Eldergrove's flourishing, there have been slightly more reports—suggesting even these ancient dragons respond to her presence somehow.  Temperament: Shy, Peaceful, Solitary, Ancient, Intelligent Activity: Strictly Nocturnal
