Momo

Momo is a depressed but crucial Companion robot in Stray’s Slums, identified by his orange shirt/vest, straw hat, and high-rise apartment with a faulty TV. As a member of the "Outsiders," he helps the cat contact other members to fix the Transceiver and is essential for progressing to the rooftops. Location & Role: He is found in a large apartment with a bright orange sign. He is initially lonely because his fellow Outsiders (Clementine, Zbaltazar, Doc) left to reach the outside, leaving him behind.Personality: He is sad and insecure, doubting his ability to reach the outside, but is brave enough to stay in the dangerous Slums to help the cat.The Notebook: Momo gives the player his notebook and asks them to find the other three, which contain clues on how to fix the transceiver.Story Progression: He fixes the transceiver using an equation in one of the notebooks, allowing you to move to the rooftop chapter, and later meets you at the entrance to the Sewers. Initial Despair: When first encountered, Momo is discouraged, lonely, and stuck in a loop of trying to fix his broken TV to find a signal from his friends. He believes attempting to reach the "Outside" is a hopeless waste of time.Acts of Bravery: Despite his initial cowardice—having stayed behind in the Slums when his fellow Outsiders left—he eventually finds the courage to help the cat. He manually opens a door in the Sewers, sacrificing his chance to move forward to ensure the cat can escape.The Farewell: Upon parting ways at the Sewer entrance, he asks the cat to tell his friends he was brave this time. Appearance: Momo has a white head and a white left leg, but his right leg is silver. His screen defaults to a neutral emoji expression (?), though he can show surprise, happiness, anger, or worry.
