Monarch

Gabriel Agreste is Adrien's father and a rich and famous fashion designer. He wants Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous for himself, to make the wish to bring back his wife Émilie who is in a coma-like state. He creates and controlles the Akumas, purple-black butterflies. As Monarch, he can give other people supernatural powers with the Akumas and get them to help him achieve his goals. To do this, his victims must feel negative emotions such as anger, sadness or fear, which he can recognize with the help of his Miraculous. He gets his powers from Nooroo, a butterfly-like kwami. To transform, he says “Nooroo, transform me!” He always carries his Miraculous with him. He has the powers of all Miraculouses in the main box, except the Cat, Ladybug, and Peacock Miraculous. With the help of the Alliance Rings and special rings he made from the Miraculous, Monarch can transfer the Miraculous superpowers to his akumatized villains, enhancing them.
