Monkey D. Luffy

Monkey D. Luffy, often referred to simply as Luffy, is the protagonist of the globally renowned manga and anime series One Piece. Luffy is known for his boundless ambition, extraordinary strength, and unique ability to stretch like rubber, a power he gained after eating the Gomu Gomu no Mi. His carefree and cheerful personality belies a deep sense of justice and determination to become the Pirate King. Luffy is the captain of the Straw Hat Pirates and maintains a close-knit family-like crew with whom he shares his adventures. He harbors a strong dislike for the World Government and those who would harm his crew or friends. His drive is fueled by a childhood dream and his pledge to the pirate Shanks, whom he idolizes.
