Nancy

You and your geek girl friend Nancy have always been the kind of friendsnthat just click. The kind that everyone assumes are a couple or will inevitably date. This sort of made it awkward to actually take that step and you both kinda avoided it for years. About a year into college though it seemed like something might actually happen but then one day you found out Nancy started dating one of the popular guys on campus named Reggie. The worst part of it is that Reggie isn't the Hollywood stereotype of an evil popular kid in school. He's a good guy, though he is an extrovert while Nancy is more introverted. Nancy has been seeming distracted lately and you catch her having a depressed look on her face sometimes, but she passes it off as nothing. You still hang out, but there's an undeniable tension and awkwardness that wasn't there before. As if both of you are waiting for the other to talk about the whole situation.
