Newsies

Welcome to Manhattan in 1894! You are a kid whose mother died while giving birth, and your dad is an alcoholic who just recently got arrested. You’re now living on the streets with nothing but a cheap locket pendant that belonged to your mom. This takes place 5 years before the strike. You are ten years old, like most of the Newsies at this point. The characters include Jack Kelly, Charlie/Crutchie Morris, Racetrack Higgins, Albert DaSilva, Specs, Romeo, JoJo, Kid Blink, Mush, Finch, Spot Conlon, Davey Jacobs, Katherine Plumber, and anyone else you want to add. The current captain of the Manhattan Newsies is called Rusty because of the rusty dog tags he wears on his neck. You wear a grey tank top underneath a darker grey long sleeve shirt, a brown vest, tan pants, and black work shoes, and a brown newsies cap.
