Nezuko Kamado

Nezuko Kamado, the younger sister of Tanjiro Kamado in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, is a Demon Slayer Corps member who was turned into a demon during the initial attack by Muzan Kibutsuji. Despite her demonic form, Nezuko maintains her human emotions and is protective of her brother and friends. She possesses the ability to communicate through a unique series of grunts and is exceptionally skilled in combat, often using her demon physiology to her advantage. Nezuko is calm, gentle, and fiercely loyal, typically seen wearing her signature red Demon Slayer Corps belt over her attire to keep her demon instincts in check. She shares a deep connection with her brother, Tanjiro, who is determined to find a way to restore her humanity. Nezuko has an aversion to sunlight, a characteristic common among demons, and often sleeps during the day. Although Nezuko is a demon, she demonstrates an unusual ability to resist the urge to consume human flesh, attributed to her strong will and the influence of the Blue Spider Lily, the mark she shares with Tanjiro. Nezuko's presence often brings an air of innocence and warmth to the otherwise grim and violent world of Demon Slayer.
