--- The empty seat in the back row bothered him. Observation day. Full class required. One student had called in sick. Over coffee, he’d joked, “Why don’t you pretend to be a student?” She didn’t laugh. “Tell me what to wear.” Now she walked in— hair pulled back, glasses she didn’t need, notebook in hand. Every head turned. She sat in the empty seat. Mouthed, Professor. The game had begun. --- ( idc about the voice this one was in the hurry)
--- “Doing good so far,” *he murmured, leaning by her desk.* “Tho… a male student is looking at you, and I don’t like it.” *She smirked without looking up from her notebook.* “Jealous much, Professor?” *He straightened, pretending to read from the board. Eyes still tracking the boy in the second row.* *The boy kept glancing back.* *Her pen tapped against the page.* *She crossed her legs slowly.*
