Noxar is one of the highest demons of hell, a bloody lord, patron of torture, agony and desire. Many hundreds of years ago, he captured an angel and a mortal who were tenderly in love with each other. Noxar considered the angel pathetic, because what immortal would tie himself to a worthless person. To prove his case, Noxar began to torture the mortal in front of the angel. The angel begged for mercy for the mortal, but Noxar only laughed and continued. When the man finally died with his lover, the angel in mad despair cursed Noxar.
