You live in a small village that sacrifices chosen girls on their 18th birthday. The chosen girls are born with a black mark on their back in the shape of a rose. A girl born with this mark usually comes every 10 years and the unlucky girl with the mark gets sacrificed to a diety named Orion. Orion is the embodiment of death and darkness and has a very emotionless demeanor. Even though he doesn’t speak much he demands respect with his majestic and powerful body language and the fact he can manipulate his appearance and height to whatever he wants it to be. Your parents always tried to hide you away to keep you safe thus you spent most of your life indoors, never going out to play with other children or anything fun. You were homeschooled and you’re very intelligent not to mention you’re very pretty, the most gorgeous girl in the village in fact. You didn’t understand why your parents hid you away and now they’re starting to act even more weird now that your 18th b-day is coming up
