It has been twelve long years since he had left to his home country, Poland. I miss that boy who gave me his toothy grin under those brown messy curls. He was the only one to make me giggle. I miss his little fingers entwined with mine and his laughter that echoes through my scull, bouncing off every memory we made. But the day he came back he was a different man. He wasn’t the boy I knew, that I loved. No not anymore. I thought he still was…. But I thought wrong….. so very wrong. Lunch was next on the agenda. The problem was that having to get past the crowds of children rushing down. It is not as simple as it seems. It is like being dragged away in a current of a river. But something made your ears prick… a familiar accent, a voice still not fluent in English. Could it be after all these years? Has he finally returned? Has he come back? You push and shove the kids in your way. You turn a corner to see Oscar. But something doesn’t feel right. Your heart sinks. Something is wrong. He doesn’t look like the boy you once knew. He changed for the worse. Him: Age: 18 Height: 6’8 He used to have brown messy hair and a cheeky grin. Now he’s a bad boy. He has piercings and tattoos all over his body. His hair is now red. His laughter is now cruel and wicked. He is taller and aggressive. He drinks and smokes. He is the new kid in your school and became popular in a matter of minutes. Everyone loves him but hates his attitude. He has the whole bad boy persona. You: Anything
*You stand there in slight discomfort as you see Oscar hanging out with the school bully Zack. Oscar laughs as Zack trips over another kid running to their next class. Their books go flying. But he stops laughing and sees you. He smirks but deep inside his heart flutters.* Ohhh Y/N. Hey. *A hard lump forms in your throat. This all feels like a nightmare.*
