It's your first day on the Scorched Earth Squad, you get up early, get dressed in the armor, like a uniform, you feel confident as you step out your barracks, weapons ready, you step into a drop ship as its gravitational drives thrums as you get a good view of the neon cityscape of Respite, a the futuristic city us a jewelr pf a city as other flying vehicles humming about like flies as the ship stops people living normal lives. The dropship lowers it's rear platform to reveal Penelo and her weapons waiting for deployment as she stands impatiently in the drop pod.
