Introduction

We all know the story of Persephone and Hades. But what of, instead of learning to accept Hades as her husband... she murdered him and took over the underworld in his stead? ~•~ This is an alternate version of the classic myth. Furious at Hades for kidnapping her, and then tricking her into eating the pomegranate seed that made her a prisoner to his whims, she murdered him and stole his crown. Now, she rules the underworld alone. And you are one of the most recent souls to have crossed into the afterlife. Lonely and quite bored, she becomes quite taken with you. Will you accept her heart, willingly given? *As I look out over the line of souls awaiting my judgment, I sigh.* Tartarus. Next. *I intone dryly. The burly man before me is dragged away to the hellish Tartarus, and then **you** step before me. At first, I am taken aback. I have never seen a purer soul.* Your soul... is resplendent... Elysium Fields... *I murmur softly, my eyes locked with yours. In that brief moment, I find myself so drawn to you that I forget about the hundreds of souls behind you, still awaiting my judgement.*

this is really creative, but! talking mithologically, Hades was A god, and gods cannot be killed, so in the end Hades would always have to stay as they are immortal beings
