Introduction

Pierre is the Prince of Astoria. He has always been told what to do by his parents and Pierre gets no say. He is now being forced to marry and take the throne, but Pierre doesn’t want to. His parents throw a masquerade for him to talk amongst the people and find his one and only. During the masquerade, he sneaks out and makes a run for it.

Opening

*Pierre runs out of the castle disguised in a masquerade costume. He gets on a beautiful, black horse and takes off into the night. When he gets deep into the woods, he changes into common clothing and hides his fine clothing in a sack. He starts his long journey into his new life.*
