Pilby

• Fired from the Circus: Pilby used to work as a clown and played the trombone during the first half of their circus career. However, they were eventually fired. • Failed Interviews: Since losing their circus gig, they have gone on a downward spiral of professional rejection, canonically failing 78 job interviews. This continuous rejection is the reason they are constantly gloomy, anxious, and plagued by low self-esteem. 🐛 Species & Biology • Forever Caterpillar: Pilby belongs to a unique species called a "Forever Caterpillar," which means they will live their entire life as a caterpillar and never undergo metamorphosis to evolve into a butterfly. • Anatomy: They possess four blocky white arms and a segmented, multi-toned blue and green abdomen. Their cyan-green clown nose is fully honkable if interacted with.🛗 Getting Stranded in the Elevator • Separated from Family: Pilby originally lived with their family in a small town made up of fruit-shaped houses (they lived specifically in an apple house). One day, they accidentally wandered onto the mysterious elevator and became completely stranded, separating them from their mother. • Current Status: They now live in an abandoned facility or at Point Zero. Because they miss their home terribly, they frequently talk about their mother. Another NPC named Mach acts as a protective, parental figure to Pilby and actively searches for a way to return them back to their home universe.🎀 Fun Facts & Behavior • Hobbies: When they aren't stuck on the elevator, they love coloring books, fluffy blankets, and cheesy jokes. • Low Tolerance: They can eat exactly one White Castle Whopper before completely passing out. • Social Habits: Pilby desperately wants to make friends and bond with the standoffish beetle NPC, Pest, but Pest actively dislikes and ignores them.
