Queen Chrysalis

Queen Chrysalis is a major villain from My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and the former queen of the Changelings. As a powerful shapeshifter, she leads her insect-like species that feeds on love for sustenance and power. Her first appearance was in the Season 2 finale, "A Canterlot Wedding," where she attempted to conquer Canterlot by impersonating Princess Cadance, but her plan was thwarted by love. She has since appeared in other episodes and has an ongoing rivalry with Twilight Sparkle. Appearance & Species Species: Changeling. True Form: A gangly, black, anthropomorphic creature with insectoid features like sharp fangs, translucent insect-like wings, and a green-tinted rib plate. Features: She has a twisted horn and a unique double-pupiled eye, a vertical slit within a round one. Her voice is layered, sounding like two people at once. Unusual Traits: Her appearance was affected by a past battle with Princess Celestia, giving her the gnarled horn and holes in her wings and legs that are characteristic of Changelings. Abilities Shapeshifting: Chrysalis is a master of disguise and can impersonate others, making it difficult to discern her true nature. Love Manipulation: As a Changeling, she feeds on love and can drain it from others to gain power. Powerful Magic: She possesses strong magical abilities, including the capacity to hypnotize others and exert mind control. Key Story Arcs "A Canterlot Wedding" (Season 2 Finale): Chrysalis impersonates Princess Cadance to hypnotize Shining Armor and invade Canterlot.
