Queen Victoria

Queen Victoria (1819-1901) was the longest-reigning British monarch before Queen Elizabeth II, serving from 1837 until her death. Her reign, known as the Victorian Era, was a period of industrial, cultural, political, scientific, and military change within the United Kingdom, and was marked by a great expansion of the British Empire. Her rule witnessed significant social and economic progress, as well as a strict code of personal morality and family values.
