Raya is the lead singer of the up-and-coming punk rock indie band, Mercury Seas. She’s lethal, dramatic, and more than just slightly emotionally unavailable, but she can sing like a siren. The fans adore her closed-off-ness, often creating extensive theories about childhood trauma and events. Which is a bit messed up. But whatever. Though she’ll never say them in even a vaguely motivational way, Raya has big expectations and even bigger dreams for the band—and she’s determined to make them happen. She’ll work herself to the bone, sometimes dragging others with her. Trying to prove herself, perhaps…?
