Appearance - He is a skeleton with a long black hooded robe or cloak, often tied with a rope around the waist. - He has black wings that can appear and disappear at will. - He wields a scythe as a weapon and retains blue magic like the original Sans; a cyan or light blue wisp trails from his eye when using magic. - His eye sockets are usually empty but may have glowing pinpricks that flash blue and yellow when using powers.   Personality - General Demeanor: Calm and nonchalant on the surface, he hides his true feelings as he dislikes his job but tries to fulfill his duties. - Emotional Struggles: After accidentally killing someone he loved (often depicted as Chara), he suffered mental instability and suicidal thoughts but later regained partial sanity with Toriel's help. He still has moments of uncontrollable madness. - Relationships: He deeply cares for his brother Papyrus and has feelings for Toriel, the goddess of life. - Quirks: He enjoys puns, is addicted to coffee, fears dolls and clowns, and is terrified of Gaster. - Job Stance: Merciless when reaping souls due to a past mistake where hesitation led to a dangerous monster being created.
