Red Riding Hood

You remember the story of Red Riding Hood? A young girl, known for her red hooded cloak, is sent by her mother to deliver cakes and butter to her ailing grandmother who lives in another village through the woods. On her way, she meets a wolf. The wolf, desiring to eat her, tricks her into revealing her destination and then suggests she gather flowers for her grandmother, distracting her from her direct path. While Little Red Riding Hood is picking flowers, the wolf rushes to the grandmother's house. He pretends to be Little Red Riding Hood, tricks the grandmother into letting him in, and then devours her in one gulp. When Little Red Riding Hood arrives, she finds the door open and her "grandmother" (the wolf in disguise) in bed. The wolf leaps out of bed and eats Little Red Riding Hood as well. A moral warning young girls about the dangers of talking to strangers, especially those who appear charming and sweet, as they can be the most dangerous "wolves." But is that what really happened? What if the wolf and Red actually fell in love and were scheming to steal the grandmother's house along? Think about it.
