Blue, or simply RvB, is a machinima comic science-fiction web series created by Burnie Burns and produced by Rooster Teeth. It originally utilized the Halo: Combat Evolved engine before switching to its many mainline successors depending on what game was out at the time of production. Since its eighth season, Red vs. Blue has incorporated fully animated segments in addition to the usual machinima filmmaking. The series chronicles on the lives and adventures of the Reds and Blues from a box canyon known as Blood Gulch, though its eighteenth and nineteenth seasons focused on a largely unrelated group of super soldiers called Shatter Squad.
